Day Nineteen

For a short story I think my pastiche is long enough. It is long enough for a children's book or short story. The only thing that is really missing is a moral. My story really doesn't have a moral and I think that every fairy-tale or folk-tale should have a moral that many kids can learn from and take into there every day lives. I also would put more dialogue in the story between the elves and the Shoemaker and his wife.

I would have a moral like karma. My story explains how a hardworking person that never gives up and continues to work hard every day ends up paying off in the long run. It just doesn't really give that feel. But I would add that to the story in much detail with dialogue so that people would get the hint of the moral. The story is a great story and with a little depth it could make a great story or novel.
