Day Twenty-Eight

I have a few titles for my book. Here are five titles I have came up with and here are the reasons why:

"Shoemaker and the fairy Dragons": This title will fits well because my story is all about a Shoemaker and his wife pushing harder every day to try and get ahead. Three fairy-dragons recognize there perseverance and hard work to where they come and help out adding a little fortune to the married couple.

"The Fairy Dragons": This title will fit well because the fairy dragons are one of the main characters in my story and they are a big, important part in the story. The title is a little plain but it names a few characters and it explains a small part of the book right away.

"The best comes to those who work for It": The title is a little long and I am working on making it shorter but I am trying to stick that message. The message will be explained throughout the story by the action of the characters and the story. Plus it would be a great and catchy title.

I am working on three more titles but I am leaning towards those ones. I want to use one of them titles for my story because they fit the story very well. I just want a title that I can be satisfied with and that a kid would read or attract to. I want my title to catch my audiences attention right away,

Day Twenty-Seven

I have finally caught up with all my blogs, I have been working my butt of to get these blogs done. I have a few more work sheets to turn in and I have a few papers to start writing so that I can be fully caught up in class and keep my grade up. I have been working fairly hard and I hope that all my hard work pays off in the end. I also hope my finish product is what I expect it to be.

As far as my story line and things go, I have a good grasp around it. I know what I want my story to be about and I know what I want it to look like. I think that my finish product will be a great example of a children's book and folk-tale. I hope that I am not forgetting anything else for class because I have been focused on few other classes trying to get caught up also. I just hope everything plays out well, but I am pretty confident.

Day Twenty-Six

I have not yet started my blurb book. I have a little bit more to catch up on but I feel like everything is coming together fairly well. After everything is done I will come back and update this blog.

Day Twenty-Five

Well I have been on blogger all day, working my butt off trying to get caught up. Now that I am finally caught up I feel so relieved, but my internet started acting up lol

As I was reading a few notes from my story and rough draft, I have noticed that my story is coming together and making a lot of sense. Every thing is flowing correctly and sounds good. I like the way my project is coming together. I actually feel like an author and editing my paper. It is a lot of work involved but I feel like the work and my story is good.

The only thing I think I need to add is a little more about Chinese culture. I need to have the culture connect with my book a little more, besides that it is all going very smoothly. I hope to get a good grade for all of the hard work I have put into this. :)

Day Twent-Four

I have finally reached the climax of my story. It took me a while and it took a great time of writing and thinking power but I have finally reached my goal. The climax is the most important part of any story. It is where the story unfolds and many things began to change and happen.

The climax of my story is the morning when the Shoemaker and his wife discover dozens of shoes that have been unexplainably made. The three men enter the store and purchase a pair of shoes. After they have fallen in love with the shoes, they will brag to the towns people about the shoes and shoes will began to sell like crazy.

The store will become well known and every one will purchase shoes from the Shoemakers shop and the shoes will continue to be made by the dozens. Then one night the Shoemaker and his wife will stay up and spy on the shop to see what is making such great shoes, bringing them all of there fortunes.

When the clock strikes 12 midnight they will see the fairy-dragons enter the shop and get right to work, making dozens of shoes by the hour. Then they will watch in disbelief as the fairy-dragons leave. When they leave the shoemakers will make them clothes so that the dragons can work comfortably. The story will soon began to unfold as the climax is revealed.

Day Twenty-Three

The social responsibilities in my story are pretty obvious, there are really only good characters in my story. There is really no bad character which leads to no conflict. The only conflict that my main character faces is the financial problems and non-happiness.

The shoemaker and his wife are always working hard in the shoe shop making shoes even though they are really not making any money or selling any shoes. They are always being kind and caring to others. They work hard every day by not losing hope and keeping their eye in the prize.

The dragons are also good character because they enter the shoe shop every night making shoes for the Shoemaker and his wife. They are kindhearted, generous, and helpful. They are all good characters. The three men that enter the shoe shop purchasing the first pair of shoes are also good characters. They are the 0nes that help the shoe store get recognition and attract people to the store. This is all based on good karma for the shoemaker and his wife.

Day Twenty-Two

As I was reading my story and the changes I have made from the original story, I saw a moral or theme in my story. The theme is "For those who do good to others, good things will come to them". It is basically about Karma. The Shoemaker and his wife work there butts off to get ahead in life but just can't manage to get a grasp on finances.

No matter what they push and work harder every day. They never lose hope and always wish for the best. The Shoemaker and his wife go to work every day and make shoes trying to sell them. They are the wishful and hopeful couple. When the fairy-dragons discovered there hard work and integrity, they wanted to help.

The fairy-dragons come in every night and make shoes that attract the attention of customers and buy them for an expensive amount of money. Since the shoemaker and his wife work so hard and push harder every day then the dragons came in and helped them. That is good karma and teaches a great moral and lesson.
